Owner, Captain & Guide. Edlin Leslie Jr., known as “Papa,” is a 3rd Generation Placencia Fisherman carrying on the legacy of his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. “The Sea…My School…The Line…My Heritage.” With a lifetime on these waters, his experience is unsurpassed. A day with Papa is filled with fun, sun, laughter, the thrill of the chase, and the catch of a lifetime.

Captain Edlin Leslie Jr.
Co-Owner, Captain & Guide, and Founder of his own kayak adventure business. He now runs his own adventures from our family dock and recently earned his Boat Skipper certification from the American School of Sailing. Raised on these waters, he is the next generation of our family on the sea, with sailing experience tours coming soon!

The future is bright in Placencia — Jahlani, Jai, and their cousins growing up with fishing in their blood and puppies in their arms.
KAI, ALMOST 4 — BORN FISHERMAN
Don't let the size fool you — Jai has true fisherman blood in his veins. He loves the boats, loves talking about the catch, and will be the most excited to welcome you back to the dock. Our future captain in training.
JAHLANI, 5 — OUR LITTLE SUNSHINE
Jahlani is our official greeter and chief hugger. With the biggest smile in Placencia, she is often the first to say hello before your tour and loves taking pictures with our guests when you return.

Discover Belize’s Prime Fishing Spots
Optional to fish inside the reef, on the reef, outside the reef or a combination of both in one day's experience. Enjoy the opportunity to fish with some of the most experienced, native, 3rd & 4th generational guides!
Boat Ride on half-day trips are generally 1-4hrs duration for Inner Reef fishing (nearshore) or in the Lagoon Area (weather dependent). Trips to the Reef are only available when the Sea State is favourable and usually beyond 12miles radius from shore, approximately 12-18miles radius. Outer Reef/Off-Shore Fishing are Full-day experience, 24-28miles from shore, approximately 1 to 1-1/2 hours boat ride, within 20-28miles off-shore.
TARGETED SPECIES:
- Targeted Inner Reef Species are: Snappers, Jacks, Barracuda, King Mackerel etc.
- Targeted Outer Reef Species are: Tuna, Wahoo Dorado etc.
- Seasonal/Electric Reel Fishing-Captain will recommend when it's a good time to chase after some trophy catch such as: Marlin, Sail Fish, Champagne Snappers, Queen Silk Snappers, Greater Amber Jack, Goliat Grouper, Snook etc.
- At the end of the trip, optional to keep your catch and a portion for home use will be cleaned and fillet for you!
